Software development in Nairobi for platforms your operations depend on

We design, build and hand over bespoke platforms and integrations: beneficiary registration and e-vouchers, e-commerce with loyalty, mobile money integration, and public-sector management.

What this practice covers

Identity and beneficiary platforms

Registration with fingerprints and smart cards, verification before every distribution, and cash, food and voucher disbursements tracked from enrolment to monitoring and evaluation.

E-commerce with loyalty

Online sales with a points and rewards application, and timely tracking of sales, inventory, payments and customer buying.

Mobile money and systems integration

STK Push, Paybill and B2C payouts wired into your platform, and APIs that connect your ERP, core systems and partners without retyping.

A public-sector platform

A management platform for a national public-sector agency, with role-based access for staff at its national, regional and local levels.

Handover is part of the build

We write documentation and runbooks as we build, so your team, or ours on a support plan, can run the system after go-live.

How we can work together

Bespoke platform build

Discovery, design, build, testing and handover for a platform shaped around your process. Scoped and priced after a short discovery phase.

Integration and mobile money

Connect M-Pesa and other mobile money, banks with open APIs, your ERP, core systems and partner APIs so data moves on its own, with reconciliation and error handling built in.

When off-the-shelf stops fitting

Packaged software works until your process doesn’t fit it. Aid has to reach the right person, verified at the point of distribution. A bank product needs a settlement flow no package offers. One payment has to land in three systems at once. That is the work we take on.

We are a software development company in Nairobi, building since 2017 for businesses, NGOs and government in East Africa.

What we have built

  • Humanitarian beneficiary management. For an international humanitarian NGO in Kenya: on-site registration, fingerprint and smart-card enrolment, and fingerprint verification before every disbursement. It supports cash and commodity distributions, school feeding, cash transfers and safety-net programmes, with monitoring and evaluation built in.
  • E-commerce with loyalty. For an automotive parts distributor in Kenya: online sales with a points and rewards application, and tracking of sales, inventory, payments and customer buying.
  • Banking and payments platforms. Core banking, mobile banking APIs, M-Pesa and other mobile money gateways, and bank reconciliation. See financial technology.
  • A public-sector platform. A management platform for a national public-sector agency, with role-based access for staff at its national, regional and local levels.

Mobile money integration, done properly

Most mobile money integration problems appear after launch: a callback that never arrives, a customer charged twice, a Paybill payment with a typo in the account number. We build for those cases from the start:

  • STK Push with status checks when the callback is late or missing.
  • Paybill (C2B) payments matched to the right invoice or account, with anything unmatched sent to a review list.
  • B2C payouts for refunds, disbursements and commissions.
  • Amounts that always come from your system, never from the customer’s browser.

How a build runs

  1. Discovery. We map the process, the people and the systems it touches, then agree scope and price.
  2. Design. Screens, data and integrations are agreed before code is written.
  3. Build in short cycles. You see working software regularly, not just at the end.
  4. Test and sign off. Your users test against real scenarios, and nothing goes live without your sign-off.
  5. Hand over and support. Documentation, runbooks, training, and a support plan if you want one.
